Tuzigoot Doorway (2005)

A view of the Verde Valley from a doorway from the top floor of the reconstructed Tuzigoot pueblo, a 13th century Sinagua ruin at Tuzigoot National Monument in northern Arizona. When the Sinagua lived in the pueblo, the view out this door was of farmland. Today the door overlooks orange tailings from 20th century copper mining in nearby Jerome.
