Mission Chimney Spout (2005)

Detail of the stucco wall beneath the brick chimney of the old kitchen at Mission San Juan Capistrano. A piece of clay pipe serves as a spout for the rain that often falls copiously during the winter months in otherwise-sunny Southern California.
