Place d’Albertas (2000)

Place d’Albertas has one of newest of the 23 fountains in Aix-en-Provence. It was designed and built in 1912 as a student project at l’école des arts et métiers d’Aix-en-Provence, the local art and design school. Marquis Jean-Baptiste d’Albertas developed this Parisian-inspired square around his residence in the 18th century.
