One of the fleet of historic electric streetcars on the F Line of San Francisco’s Municipal Railway. The cars are painted in the authentic livery of various transit systems that used them. This one (number 1061) is a “PCC” car built in 1946 for use in Philadelphia. It’s outfitted as a “Red Car” of the Pacific Electric Railway, the mass transit system in Los Angeles that operated from 1901 until 1952. The actual Los Angeles “Red Cars” were a different PCC model.
