Mokolii (1997)
Ancient Hawaiians saw this little island off the windward (east) coast of Oahu as Mokolii, a little lizard. But later haoles (white people) saw it as the “Chinaman’s Hat.” That name may be politically incorrect today, but it’s still what most people call it.
