La Purisima Cemetery Yard (2009)

Inside the enclosed cemetery at La Purisima Mission in Lompoc, California. Since none of the cemetery’s original graves remain, the restored yard includes a large cross as a symbolic memorial to the Franciscans and the Chumash.
