Pershing Square Frames (2011)
Square cutouts in Ricardo Legoretta’s purple wall provide a frame for views of Pershing Square and surrounding buildings in Downtown Los Angeles. Beyond the square, this late-afternoon view includes a corner of the brick facade of the Millennium Biltmore Hotel, the glass facade of the Gas Company Tower, Frank Stella’s Dusk mural, and the AT&T Microwave Tower.
