Union Station Ticketing Concourse #1 (2012)

Late afternoon sunlight gives a golden nostalgic glow to the Ticketing Concourse at Los Angeles Union Station (originally the Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal). Passengers originally bought tickets from agents at one of a series of windows. Today, those who haven’t bought their tickets on-line can buy them at much smaller booths and self-service kiosks inside the station, so this opulent hall is now closed to the public. It’s a “location” for advertising and movie shoots, and also a venue for weddings and other private functions.
