Glanum Temple and Forum (2000)

The site of the “twin temples” and the forum in the former Roman city of Glanum, near Saint-Rémy de Provence. The “twin temples” originally provided a dramatic colonnade as a backdrop to the adjacent forum. Although only the foundations of Glanum’s buildings remained after the city was destroyed in the 3rd century CE, modern archaeologists have rebuilt three columns at the corner of one of the temples.
