Rendezvous Court Ceiling (2015)

The ceiling of the Rendezvous Court at the Los Angeles (Millennium) Biltmore Hotel, looking up from the entrance on Olive Street. Originally the hotel’s lobby, the Rendezvous Court suggests a Spanish-Moorish Renaissance palace. The ceiling was the work of Anthony B. Heisenbergen, apprentice to Giovanni Smeraldi who created the Italian Renaissance Revival decoration throughout the hotel.
