Bath Reflection (1974)

The Romans were very fond of bathing in hot springs. So it’s not surprising that they would flock to the only hot spring in Britain, which they named Aquae Sulis to honor the healing goddess Sulis Minerva. The reconstructed Roman bath complex is a museum and tourist attraction. This is the “Great Bath,” as a nearly abstract reflection in the central pool.
