Catalina Cruiser (2007)

The cruise ship Monarch of the Seas anchored outside Avalon harbor. The harbor is too shallow for large cruise ships. Ships anchor outside the harbor, and tenders pull alongside to ferry passengers to and from the mole (stonework dock) in Avalon. I took this picture from the tender Catalina Countess as it headed away from the Monarch.
