Icing the Kippers (1975)

After sunset, fisherman in Mallaig, Scotland put the day’s catch on ice. Mallaig is best known for kippers. When in the boat, as they are here, they’re not yet kippers— they’re herring, patiently waiting to be marinated and tinned.
