Haleakala Cinder Cones (2006)

Some of the volcanic cinder cones in the Haleakala “crater” on Maui. The Big Island of Hawaii pokes its volcanos above the clouds on the horizon. View from the Kalahaku Overlook (“Ka-la-ha-koo,” meaning proclaim the lord), 2842 meters above sea level.
