Emerald Bay in Infrared (2006)

On infrared film, green foliage glows a bright ghostly white because it strongly reflects infrared light. Water turns black because it reflects little infrared. For outdoor scenes like this one, the look of infrared film is so stereotypical that it’s easy to simulate it with a normal color image and the right software, as I’ve done here.
